Picture This: The Magical Mobiles of Alexander Calder

Picture This is an art exploration program for the younger school age crowd, Kindergarten through Grade 3.

Each month we learn about a different famous artist, look at some beautiful & interesting pictures of their art, & try our own hand at creating masterpieces.  This month we learned about Alexander Calder and his Abstract Art.  His sculptures and mobiles are shown all around the world.  One of his most famous mobiles is in Washington, D.C. at the National Gallery of Art.
