Join professional Aerobics instructor and Personal Trainer Martini as she leads this fun and exciting Zumba class for adults!

Spots are still open for tomorrow’s class on Saturday, June 23rd at 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Interested patrons may register by visiting the online calendar or by calling the library at 856-983-1444.

Please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers/secure footwear to class and remember to bring water and a towel.

Join us to learn how to borrow library Ebooks and Eaudiobooks, available for free with your library card through the BCLS website, on your Apple iOS or Android device. (Also for Windows Phone 7 and Blackberry devices.)

Please feel free to bring your device with you. If you would like to get set up to use the wireless Internet here at the library, please see the librarian at the Information Desk a few minutes before class starts. You will need your library card or photo id if you have lost your card.

Synopsis: American-born Israeli director Eytan Fox lenses this contemporary road movie that takes its Israeli characters to Berlin as they attempt to understand the role that the past still plays in the lives of young Israeli and German people. Lior Ashkenzai, Carola Ranier, Hans Tischler, Israeli Gideon Shemer and Yousuf Swaid co-star, and the soundtrack includes tunes by Esther Ofarim, Bruce Springsteen, Telepopmusic and Gigliola Cinquetti.

Synopsis: Nominated for 2011 Best Foreign Language Film Oscar and awarded Grand Prix honors at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, this compelling historical drama relates the ordeal of seven French Trappist monks in the mountains of Algeria who are taken captive by Islamic fundamentalists. Before the monks’ abduction, they have ample reason to believe they may be in danger, but their assumption that there can and must be common ground between Islam and Christianity leads them to remain at the monastery.


Getting Through to Your Child

Program Description:

This program takes the mystery and fear out of verbal abuse by and between children and shows you a simple, practical way to stop it in its tracks.

Synopsis: In this Oscar-nominated film, widow Katya and her young child, Sanya, meet a handsome army captain, Tolyan, on a train in 1952 Russia. Posing as a family, the three find a rooming house where Tolyan becomes everyone’s favorite. Tolyan charms with his good looks and generosity — especially   toward Sanya. But the relationship goes sour when Tolyan’s plans for the rooming house become clear, and his real identity is revealed.
