Stuffed Animal Sleepover

We’re really celebrating our 2012 Summer Reading Theme (Dream Big … Read!)at the Evesham Library with a Stars Spangled Stuffed Animal Sleepover!!!

Twenty-six furry friends spent the night & the holiday with us at the Evesham Library.  They read, collected prizes, watched the fireworks, and made their great escape.  Come take a look at the mischief they got into …

June Lego Club Pictures!!!

Most months at the Evesham Library, we host The Lego Club.  (We meet again on Thursday, 7/26 @ 11:00 amDon’t forget to register 2 weeks prior!)  We provide the Legos, idea books, and snacks … and the kids bring their imaginations.  We kicked off summer with some free-styling Lego building.  Some months we have a theme – and some months we let the kids choose.  Take a look at these creative, inventive, magnificent, & completely awesome Lego creations!

Announcing Summer Reading 2012!

It’s that time again … Summer Reading Clubs will begin on Monday, June 25th!  The prizes will begin on Wednesday, June 27th.  Summer Reading ends on Friday, August 17th.

There is a BRAND NEW Summer Reading Club for our littlest readers.  This is the “Early Literacy Club” for 0-3 year olds.  You will receive an activity sheet with fun activities that promote literacy for babies and toddlers.  Complete at least 10 activities and stop back in for a prize!

The theme is “Dream Big – Read!” for the 3 – 12 year old crowd.

4 hours of reading = 1 prize.  We will have a fabulous prize table & you may choose a toy, take a coupon for a yummy treat, enter a raffle, or even win a Book!

“Own the Night” for the teens (ages 12 – 18 years)

Complete 4 hours of reading, fill out your reading log, & stop in for a prize.  Your prizes include a weekly raffle to your favorite stores, food coupons, school supplies, & fantastic NEW books!  12 year olds may choose to join either reading club.  It is up to you!

Sunday Family Matinee: Hugo

Join us on Sunday, May 13th at 2:00 pm to watch this beautiful, Oscar-winning film based on Brian Selznick’s children’s novel, The Invention of Hugo Cabret.

Set in 1930s Paris, an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton.

Registration is not required and snacks are welcome! Rated PG.
